Granny Dot's is set up in a warm and welcoming way, an ideal getaway for leisure travellers and jaded business executives. Within the guest house there's a choice of 4 double rooms and 2 outside rooms. All are individually & cheerfully furnished, en-suite with ceiling fans, tea/coffee trays and toiletries. All rooms have DSTV - Hotel Bouquet.
Farm breakfasts are substantial, made with locally grown produce and can be taken on the sunny patio in summer. Delicious dinners available by prior arrangement. In winter a cosy fire will be awaiting you in the lounge.
Activities
Bird life is prolific and numerous species of small game may be seen.
Ideal terrain for cross country runners, mountain bikers. Walk down to the dam or tackle the Rooikat Hiking Trail in the Agatha forest, for champagne breakfast in enchanting places! Or simply soak up the sun at the secluded pool and enjoy that spectacular view!

Such as scenic drives, waterfalls, Modjadji Cycad Reserve, golf courses, fishing, 4x4 trails, quad biking, Agatha crocodile ranch are all within easy reach and the Kruger Park is just 80mins away.
4.5 hours from Johannesburg. 2.5 hours from Nelspruit. 16kms from Tzaneen.

Experience real adventure on the Magoebaskloof Canopy Tour - a thrilling ride for 7 - 70 year olds! Watch the huge crocodiles being fed at the Agatha Crocodile Ranch. Walk through ancient cycads - survivors of the prehistoric world - at Modjadji. Take an early morning drive to the Kruger Park to see the Big 5. Explore numerous archaeological & historical sites. Visit the Cheetah Rehabilitation Project at Kapama.

Terms & Conditions
- The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
- Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
- If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving. - The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
- The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
- The property must honour any bookings made while the property was participating as a $elect Stays property.
- The property must honour the agreement and the spirit in which the initiative is designed to benefit local tourism.
